Hi all, I have the chance to grab a week at the Renaissance thru an II exchange. I have always wanted to stay there and am very tempted but I am curious about a couple of things. The 1 bedroom is listed as having a limited kitchen. Can someone describe exactly what that means? I like to cook a few meals in my room, would that be possible? This would be the final week of 3 weeks in Aruba and I would be coming from a 1 bedroom at the Surf Club with probably lots of groceries.

Also, I usually stay in Palm and Eagle beach. Would a whole week in town be too much? Is parking easy and convenient?

Any information would be appreciated. Thank you.

The kitchen has pretty much everything except an oven. Parking is convenient right outside the resort. I've stayed at Eagle Beach, Palm Beach and Renaissance. I actually prefer the Renaissance because the private island beach terrific and not crowded like Palm Beach. Plenty of restaurants, shopping etc to walk to. A week is not too long.

Full size fridge?

The fridge isnt a full size, more like an apartment size with a separate freezer. We had no problem with a large amount of groceries.

Thank you. That was my main concern.

We own there and love it. Newly remodeled rooms; email me and I can shoot you pictures of the rooms. Plenty to do downtown, and you can always rent a car to go someplace or take public transportation. Grab the exchange, you won't regret it. There is plenty of parking at the Ren; no need to use the paid public parking. If you get there and can't find a place, just tell the doorman and they'll take care of it for you.

We found cooking there possible, but a little challenging. It did have stovetop burners, but almost no counter space. Limited kitchenware.

Rooms are small, but the private island beach was awesome.
