Ok, just got done talking to my nephew and his wife about our upcoming trip next July to Hilton Head, Island Links and now they are interested in also coming that same week..... Any ideas [where] we could rent [*edited]. Thanks Dave

Island Links floats so someone would have already had to have reserved that week. You may want to look at the resorts in the area that are and easy walk/bike ride from where you are staying: Barony, Island Links, and Royal Dunes. Royal Dunes is going to have the lowest MF;s but I don't know if that will translate into a lower rental price.

You also might want to put in another OGS, you might get another match.

yeh..... thanks for checking on this.... we have a friend who ended up helping us take care of this so we were able to book 2 three bedroom's at Island links for that week!!! we really love that place...... Dave

Enjoy we really like Island Links. Great resort.... Can I ask how much a two or 3 bedroom typically rents for? Summer? We are trying to plan a vacation too....

Island Links is an RCI points resort. A summer week is fairly high (106,500 points) so most summer weeks become available at 10 months. In the weeks program, the weeks float and owners can't directly deposit weeks 26-31. Management occasionally deposits a few summer weeks and they typically go for 27-35 tpu's for the 3 bedroom.

I am not sure about the availability and deposit habits of the DRI controlled weeks.
