So since we bought the condo in Aruba, we've been thinking about downsizing our timeshare portfolio. We have 4 weeks, and would probably be Ok with getting rid of 2 or 3 of them. So, contacted Marriott to see what they are offering (yeah, I know they take 40%).

They said they had a buyer for our Kauai Beach Club unit, would list our Grand Vista unit and were not interested in our Grande Chateau unit. Earlier this week we heard back that the buyer signed the contract on our KBC unit. Will end up netting more than we paid for it back in 2013!

So, we're happy campers. If we can get rid of Florida, we'll be in good shape. Still tossing around Vegas, and am not sure about our Ren Aruba week; seems they are decent traders.

The resale department does not broker units in Nevada, so that is why they can't list your Chateau unit. They also don't do MO so no Willow Ridge.

I'm not certain why they don't do certain properties. It probably has something to do with the state laws preventing a developer from being a 3rd party broker. I don't think it has anything to do with the properties themselves being purposely excluded.
