Actually able to make a reservation

Just reporting that I was actually able to make a reservation around 1:30 this morning, 10 months out at a popular resort in peak season. Very happy! It took less than 5 minutes, although considerably longer than the old "unimproved" website. I only had to start over once or twice! The reservation appeared instantly in "My vacations" and the change to my point status was also instantaneous. My point status has always been correct since the beginning, so I am one of the lucky ones. Anyway, just wanted to report that something DID work.

I made a reservation in the Express window for Glacier Canyon. We've come and gone already. I still don't have ARP on my 3 contracts, but seeing that they are all in Florida, I don't really need ARP at the moment. They've got a few months to get it straightened out. I would like the paperwork for a CWA contract that has been almost 30 days. I don't even know if they are processing any paperwork lately.

I am pretty sure they are periodically disabling the reservation process without any notice, knowing that by the time someone can reach a VC to complain about it - it might be up again. For the past hr, everything on the site seems to working fine, but everytime I go into the book process, and enter my resort and dates, the SEARCH button lights for a second, then becomes disabled.

I was able to book 2 sweet reservations within the 60 day discount period with the help of a VC today. The points discount wasn't working when I tried to make a reservation through the website. Until the problem/issue in fixed all my reservations within 60 days of check-in will be over the phone with a VC.

I booked some today that worked fine, the discount was properly done. The search I was having an issue with but the discount was fine.

What resort are you having issue with. I was Magaritaville Puerto Rico and Bonnet Creek, both discounts worked

I have to report success also today, I was able to cancel a reservation then book a studio and upgrade to a one bedroom. Yes my heart was pounding as I did this on the website without a VC.
Note I did a search first to see if I would be able to get the upgrade to the one bedroom, then cancelled my 1br reservation and rebooked. This was at the margaritaville in PR. Where the rooms are overpriced anyway. Nice to see that the cancel rebook is still available.

I had previously had problems cancelling reservations online.

I have not had any trouble with the recaptcha (i've only have to check the 'i am not a robot' box - no images or any of the advanced stuff yet on the new website).

What browser are you using? I would try a different browser.

For anyone continuing to have issues (with recaptcha or the spinning wheel of patience) you might also try clearing your cache (I just hate it when people tell me to do that, and hate it even more when they are right :)).

I too was able to make a reservation 9 months out, with no issues at all. My points look right also!

I too was able to make a reservation 9 months out, with no issues at all. My points look right also!

That's great! At least the new website if working for some users... I was able to make a reservation, but I have negative points in one use year. I don't understand how the system would allow negative points, and I'm not going to call them to fix.
