I want to buy a pure points based TS and am considering Festiva Adventure Club. Can anyone tell me what other Points Based TS are comparable and on overall opinion of Festiva? Really appreciate any advice offered.

I own a couple of Escapes timeshares, which were purchased by Festiva several years ago - they have kept the program pretty much intact. My only complaint is that they increased the transfer fee from $100 to $325!

Escapes has properties at Orange Beach, Hot Springs, and Branson, and we've been pretty happy with the program - 143K annual Escapes points has maintenance around $550, annual club dues of $169, and we can get about 3 Summer weeks in a 1BR (96K) at Orange Beach every 2 years.

I have a website with a lot of Escapes resources you can compare to FAC (which I have no experience with) - PM me if you want the link.

I also own some Holiday Inn Club Vacations units, which is a very nice points program, including online reservations and a couple dozen properties. Check out the Google+ group for more info.
