I stayed at DSV I several years ago during a promotion and was pretty impressed. I have never visited Shadow Ridge. But Shadow Ridge does seem to be further from town.

In terms of both the facilities themselves, and especially trading power, which is better?

Thanks,

Jeff

Shadow Ridge is larger and newer. Very nice golf facilities -- Faldo golf program. It is not attached to a Marriott resort so there is only one nice sit down restaurant and the pool bar for eating. But we like to go off property for that anyway.

IMHO, The week and size of the unit to be deposited will have much more effect on the trading power than if the unit is from Shadow Ridge or DSV I or II.

What are the top-trading weeks? [I was going to say hottest weeks, but probably not in this case.]

I'd guess that the highest demand weeks may be:

Jan during the Hope Desert classic,
Feb during Prez week
Last 3 weeks of March which covers many Spring breaks.

But you can confirm this guess by looking at your II book which has demand index for the Palm Springs area.

So if I would only stay there occassionally, I guess I would be best off with the cheaper one
