We are taking our first trip to Palm Desert in April and are staying at the Desert Willow property. We have two lockoffs and one 1-bedroom. Any building recommendations? We have 2 young children so I think it would be most convenient to stay near the main pool. I heard they are doing construction on site so I hope we can avoid that area of the resort. Also, what area attractions/day trips are must sees (again, considering we have 2 young children - ages 4 and 1)? Thanks

I think building 1 or 2 would be the most convenient - they are closest to the main pool area and clubhouse. The construction is towards the back of the resort, past buildings 17 and 18 if I remember correctly. We were there last year, so the construction might have moved to a new building but will still be a long way from buildings 1 and 2.
