As I originally stated, who I was employed with I will not divulge. But the shadiest tactics where by far in the owners update dept.

Which developer that you worked for had the shadiest sales/business practices? What were the most egregious of those practices?

RTU gives you the right to use a particular unit or unit size each year, but you have no actual real estate interest. The majority have a stated expiration date and are generally held by a trust company. Many TS outside of the US are typically right-to-use.

Its is deeded until the end date of the Resort you buy into. Which is 50 years from the date the Resort was built. You can will it or sell it if need be.

You can also add on to it as well. for example: A new resort opens 20 years from now. You can add on there and have membership for 50 more years.

I don't want to encourage this troll to post even more factually incorrect drivel, but the cited "50 years" has clearly just been pulled out of a hat and is simply incorrect (...as was the "there is no rescission period in Mexico" nonsense previously offered by this uninformed monkey). The condo declaration documents in at least 3 different SW FL Florida facilities at which I own several weeks each very clearly identify the initial duration time period as 40 years.

So when is this clown actually going to offer some information which is either correct or new, anyhow?
