For someone who has flown with Hawaiian Airlines. Can you prepay baggage fee when printing off boarding pass? Delta does but American no longer does. Makes it so much easier to prepay fee.

Yes, we did this back in June. The HA website is very user-friendly, and so is the staff of HA. It was the best air travel we have ever experienced anywhere!

We have flown many times with Hawaiian Airlines and all of our trips were fine until our last one. When we came home last year from the big Island we had a delay in Maui for about four hours and then in Oahu for another four hours. Very uncomfortable in the airport. However when we got back we opened our email and found that the hundred dollar voucher they were giving everyone for the inconvenience at the airport was now $800. Almost enough for this December's flight to go first class. We felt the renumeration for the inconvenience was more than adequate.

That's a nice surprise. Our flight was delayed 14.5 hours in 2016 when the plane out of SJC had to turn around and landed in OAK. We stood in line for 3 hours for food and hotel vouchers for the day, and then gave up, rented a car, drove home and slept, and returned to the airport later that evening. We were given $300 vouchers, arrived into OGG at 2:00 AM, and missed our first day on Maui.

But yes, we were able to pay for our bag fees online during check-in.
