HGVC: buying resale with access to RCI?

Quick question: I am new to timeshares and I am planning on rescinding my contract this week with HGVC. I am wondering if I plan to buy resale in the future if I would have access to RCI last call?

Yes you will have the same access to RCI as everyone else who owns hgvc.

Agreed. It's a fine system, very flexible. We bought 2 - HGVC's resale.
You get every perk of a direct-sale... 'cept elite status (not worth the $$).

Just avoid the sales-weasels who use the same playbook that all of 'em have.

Not sure if anyone has done an analysis that encompasses the whole HGVC system to answer your inquiry, but these might help you get a sense:

The sales folks tend to stretch the truth and don't clearly state the PROs and CONs. So definitely spend some time learning the system and determining if timesharing will work for you (don't rely on what the sales folks told you). Timesharing is not ideal for everyone. It's not like booking a hotel. There is a lot of competition during peak travel periods and at high demand resorts/locations so advance planning is required.

Here's my yearly maintenance fee history for Orlando and Las Vegas over a 10+ year period.
