HGVC sale

I'm trying to list a unit for sale and choose a name from the drop down list but when I try to submit it, I get the message that this is not a known resort and not from the drop down list! What can I do to submit this ad?

Happy to help!

You must type in a part of the resort name that matches exactly, thus we suggest using a single word contained in the resort name to populate the drop down box.

For instance, if you are trying to post an ad for a Hilton timeshare, just typing in the word "Hilton" would populate the drop down box with all Hilton resorts.

But why have a drop down list it says you must use if when I choose the one that matches, it doesn't work! What would be the name to use? This is HGVC on Paradise in Las Vegas- what one word should I add to the drop down? Sorry, I have not read the posting information, just being frustrated because I followed the posted information and got no results.

I don't see that resort listed at all. I think it may just need to be added to the list.

Start with Hilton, it should then drop down all of them when you press spacebar. Its in the list:

because you are not spelling it correctly or exactly as it is in the database, if you were it would populate the drop down box =)

typing in just hilton will populate the drop down box with all the HGVC resorts. (edited...mentioned above in other posts)

I did not type anything. The drop down gives the choice HGVC and so I chose that. Is there someplace else to type a longer name?

What web browser are you using? I use Firefox, and when I went to create a listing, the only drop down boxes are:
Type of Listing
Contact type

Then the next section:
Ad Type
Frequency

The Resort Name (for me) is not a drop down and actually shows this wording in light gray:
begin typing the resort name and select from the list provided



That being said:
If you just type: "HGVC" then you only get one item in the "list".

However, if you type in:
"Hilton Grand Vacations Club"

Then you'll get a list to choose from (I do see the Paradise location).

Unfortunately with HGVC it's not uncommon. 2 of the 3 timeshare resales brokers/agents have similar issues where if you type: HGVC you get one thing and if you type out: Hilton Grand Vacations Club you get something else.
