A veterinarian friend of mine posted the above link on Facebook. A total classic! Every single thing listed in the article happens to me routinely, although I personally think most people are far more well-meaning than the article implies.
I did have a pet owner offer to sequence his cat's genome for me today (he's not crazy and is actually capable of that). Thank you very much but actually that spinal tap I was just suggesting would be far more helpful in this specific situation.
