II - Add 1BR resort to 2BR exchange request?

I deposited a 2BR week into II and have set up an exchange request into a 2BR at a few resorts. I'd like to add a resort that only has 1BRs to the request and can't figure out how to do this without allowing exchanges into 1BRs at all the other resorts. Am I missing something? Can it only be done over the phone? Or not at all? TIA

This is a flaw in the II system. You can't designate different unit size requests for different resorts or dates using the same deposit online. I don't think this is something they can modify on the phone either but I have never tried.

Sadly, yes. The phone rep was unfailingly polite but completely unhelpful - the system is unable to add a resort if it doesn't have the villa size you've requested.

You either need to set up two separate searches, or select 1br for all of your resorts. Then call/cancel within 24 hours if any of the "2br resorts" matches to a 1br unit, before the "1br only" resort does.

Yes, I wanted to do the same thing, but unfortunately II doesn't allow a request like that. You wouldn't think it would be that hard but apparently not.
