II Memorial Day weekend Palm Springs or Sedona

I own at Ridge Tahoe and have a studio on deposit with II that recently qualified me for 3Yr free Basic & Platinum membership.

We are looking for Sedona (1st) and Palm Springs or Newport Beach Marriott locations. If I exchange and search for Palm Springs, I can see Marriott DSV I and II studios for weeks starting 5/26. I can also see some Getaways around the Memorial Day weekend but none starting on 5/25 or 5/26.

Now my question is whether I should use me deposited week to book an exchange or just wait to 60day mark and see if some of those places available for an exchange would show up as Getaways?

What would b Ethel best strategy right now to employ according to all seasoned tuggers? TIA

Right now there is a 2 bedroom palm spring getaway at checking in may 25th. Platinum getaway Price around $1,077 (plus $30 sale discount) I also see it for exchange (using with a Marriott unit)
