Hi, For those of you that use II, when trading, do you just get a week for a week? I know with RCI you get a point value and can possibly get more depending on the value of your deposit...

That is how II works for me, one week for one week. I like it that way and hope they do not change anything.

yes. trading value is more confusing/unclear when trading with II. but you basically get a week for a week...the only perk is if you get an accommodation certificate or 2-for-1 exchange in some circumstances, but the ACs are definitely not worth much any more even as a throw-in...

Uh, maybe. Huge question. Read this: http://tugbbs.com/forums/index.php?threads/sticky-interval-international-faq-tugs-advice.74057/

Deposit First: Deposit your week into the exchange, then instant exchange for a week or place a search and exchange when matched. Pay your exchange fees.
Deposit First
Use Deposit First when you are sure you want a different vacation experience. You’ll enjoy the flexibility of up to a four-year travel window — allowing you to exchange anytime from two years before to two years after the first day of your home resort week.

Request First: Request a week (search) and then deposit your week and pay the exchange fees.
Request First
If you want the security of retaining your home resort week until you receive an exchange confirmation, use Request First. Place a request and travel from two years before the week you offer in exchange up until the dates of that week. If you are a points-based member, use Request First.

Then, you have shortstay, choose2, travel exchanges, getaways, accommodation certificates etc....

But, yes, to answer your question.... it's week for week.
If you're Wyndham, it requires a direct deposit and separate, personal (not corporate) account unless you're grandfathered into II etc.....

LOL ... lots of conditional answers in that reply! ;-) Indeed, there is no straightforward answer to what appears, on the surface, to be a simple, straightforward question, right? Thanks for the details!
