Hi I am going to stay at the Kauai beach villas for a week, but I needed one day before my week starts. We were told that you can no longer use the pool on the Kauai beach resort for any amount of money. I know thru the years this has change, from yes you can to pay $20. 00 a day .
Can some one tell what happen.
It's seems that the Kauai cares more about their towels then the torn furniture in the room .
Also we were told that if we go to the Wyndham up date they would give us a gold wrist ban that would allow us to us the hotel pool. I don't believe that but I will find out

I just left KBV yesterday.

For 1 night, I would stay at the hotel on the same property.

It's true - if you go to a Wyndham sales pitch you get a $100 AMEX and gold arm bands for the pool.

There is no torn furniture at KBV - all soft goods have been replaced.

The condo-hotel HOA backed out of the reciprocal arrangement - not KBV. Had nothing to do with towels.

This happened as soon as Grand Pacific took over Mgmt. so I suspect they are in collusion with Wyndham who is trying to get KBV back.

Yes that is what I thought. We just can't get away from collusion from management of some sort. My daughter is going to the update so, we will have the gold arm bands, to bad. I hope Grand Pacific is taking this serious, having the reciprocal arrangement is a great asset to the timeshare.

Wyndham has a contract with the condo-hotel to buy the armbands. I suspect that the agreement says that they won't provide access to Grand Pacific. Not much GP can do about that.
