Will the permits not expire? They told us in April at the Hawaiian Village that it is still a go but had no idea when so they didn't lie about it. They will let us know because we showed interest.hahaha, they tore down the old resort buildings if that counts as breaking ground. Several members have stopped by the location and NOTHING has been touched since then.
If you are taking lottery picks for the opening date, I'll take April 2025.

We prefer less crowded Kihei (we own there) but that's just us.Even when they build, the property location is not great - across the street from the beach and in windswept Kihei. Although it is better than nothing, we will opt for Westin or Hyatt in Kaanapali directly on the beach. But that's just me...
... guess another case of the sales reps not being kept up to date.
At our owner update here on the Big Island our salesperson told us Maui is off the table - at least at this location. With the investor backing out and the not so prime location it's no longer viable. Focus is on the Ocean Tower at the Hilton Waikoloa and then finding a better location that is truly ocean front. Think they will liquidate the property, take their lumps and move on.
No kidding. I want that guy on speed dial if I need info.Wow, a sales person told the truth. This is what we gathered already from the investors update meeting minutes.

That would be nice, how much would those units go for...A viable option would be to convert a wing of the Grand Wailea
