Maui/Kauai Exchange-Any Chance at All?

We have deposited our Phuket 2BR (gold season) and are looking to go to Hawaii for my 40th bday next year. Our search window is mid-Feb end of March 2010.

We are searching for either:

Maui Ocean Club-Lahaina and Napili Villas (primary)

We have selected 1 br or larger w/ kitchen.

Do you think we have a prayer for Maui to come through?

Esp. since you are willing to accept a 1BR, coupled with your flexibility in travel dates and the decrease in Hawaii tourism, I would think you have a very good chance.

Not peak season, think positive and it should happen!!
There are 2 other properties on Kauai that you could request that could increase your chances.

I think if the economy is still as it is now, you might get something. January is not impossible for a trade, February is a bit harder.
