We went to a bluegreen sales preview thing in TN back in early June. Even bought points but rescinded after reading about resale and we must have been on a vacation "high" as we are usually very very big bargain hunters and researchers before making big purchases. We live in Michigan and liked that Bluegreen has boyne as we like to ski up there. But know have been researching ALL the different points timeshares and I am flipping stumped on which we should go with via resale. Our original plan was to maybe buy the cheapest resale pinnacle bluegreen point package with charter (like the idea of bonus nights and rci membership) and the add on in same trust through resale. Of course we could just buy resale at boyne and maybe others we might us and then would have bonus nights there. But not have looked at Wyndham, Daimond, Festival, and more and the awesome comparison chart on here. I am so undecided on what way to go resale now. Can people that are doing it via resale give me their advice and what they like and don't like? The cheap person in me wants the best deal and the low maintenance fees. Thanks for all the insight in advance.

I suggest you go to the sticky on this forum entitled "What To Buy" Questions for Newbies and fill it out and then post it here. It will give all of us a good idea of where you want to travel, how much advance planning you are capable of, your budget for both an upfront purchase and ongoing maintenance fees, how many people you will be traveling with, etc. Once you've filled that out, I think you'll get much better, more focused advice.
