Hi all, need some help here~:hi:

I started my search around and found two very similar offer listed below:

One for BOULEVARD 3Br Penthouse for Gold season,7000P/year
and the Other, Seaworld 2Br for Plat season, also 7000P/year,

The BOULEVARD cost a bit more $7000 + $700ish fee+activation
Seaworld total will be around $6400+activation

MF$ are also almost the same $1203.44 for BOULEVARD and $1252 for Seaworld.

What do you guys think? Does BOULEVARD worth the extra$?

My main concern is MF inflation rate, will BOULEVARD tends to keep lower MF increase then Seaworld? How about resell, will BOULEVARD holds it's value better?

Thanks!

If you buy only for the points, it's always best to buy platinum season and not gold or silver as the MF is the same either way. Mf follow the size of the unit not the season.

The mf is always cheaper in vegas compared to Orlando. Right now you are comparing a 3br and a 2br. The 3br will have a higher mf compared to a 2br.

I would recommend that you either look for a 2br in vegas in platinum season which is 7000 points or the 3br in platinum season which is 9.600 points.

The 3br will be more expensive than the 2br in platinum as it has more points. The 2br 7000 points goes for approx 7.000$ so you are paying roughly the same for the same amount of points but the mf is only 750$ ish (can't remember the correct number, you can find it in the sticky)

So by paying the same you save roughly 500$ in Mf each year.

Hmm, thanks, you're right, should keep searching for Plat at Las Vegas.

How about homeweek Advantage? How hard is it for non-owner to get into Orlando during non-school season? Mission Impossible or just need to plan ahead?(say 6 months?)

I don't think its hard to get into Orlando. I travel off season and had my pick of resorts. I assume it harder during peak weeks.

I agree peak weeks are harder. Orlando should be easy to get. Also hgvc just opened a new resort in Orlando the las palmeras so there are a lot of inventory to pick from.

The places where HGVC has build many resorts such as Big Island, Las Vegas & Orlando has good inventory (you will need to be somewhat flexible the more you wait during the club window). I didn't list Oahu because that resort you really will need to book right at the 9-month club window to get the best rooms with lower point value (such as Lagoon Tower). Just my opinion anyway.

Really hard to say for now, will try to explore more destination, we really like king's land, what to go back in less than 3 years. LV is just not for me, even if going there, hotel maybe a better option than resort. Orlando will be a foreseeable one once kid/kids arrive, but thats may be 8-10 years later...

I will not worry about LV and Orlando now thanks to your info, but it's good to know that Big Island has good availability.
Would you please just hint me a bit more? How about now if I want to booking for Thanksgiving weekend or week 50 to the first half of week 51? Any luck?

Being you are going to explore and use multiple locations I would get a platinum week. If you decide to sell it in the future the platinum week will be more desirable.

You can also look at an affiliate. I purchased at Eagles nest, Marco island.
