If you have used your DVC pts into RCI for an Exchange, would you please explain the following. TIA
DVC web site states the Seasons are as followed.
Low = Blue
Mid = White
High = Red
Is this the same Season you see at RCI Directory online in the Resort detail - Example below.
Season Information
Time Dates:
Blue January 07, 2017 April 01, 2017
Blue November 18, 2017 December 31, 2017
Red May 06, 2017 November 04, 2017
White April 01, 2017 May 06, 2017
White November 04, 2017 November 18, 2017
- See more at: http://www.rci.com/resort-directory

And what about the Resort status :
Gold Crown , Silver Crown, Hospitality, or no rating listed .

How does this work in the Disney's World Collection -
Weekly Exchange through RCI - RCI Gold Crown
Weekly Exchange through RCI - Remaining RCI Network( this one I stumped on- not knowing what resorts these are)
Weekly Exchange through RCI - The Registry Collection(haven't figured this one out yet either-not knowing what resorts these are)
Nightly Exchanges Thought RCI - RCI Gold Crown( this one I believe I understand).

I have never traded our DVC points. I am always using them for DVC and in borrowing mode!

RCI Gold Crown, Silver Crown, and Hospitality ratings have to do with the resort amenities, unit furnishings, etc. and guest comment cards. If I ever decided to trade my DVC points, I personally would want it to be for a Gold crown resort like the Hilton Grand Vacation clubs or similar. If a Gold Crown was not available in the area I wanted to travel to, I would just rent my DVC points through David's rentals and use the cash to book a high quality resort in the area I wanted to go to.

Yes.

Gold Crown is the RCI designation with the little Gold Crown icon on the RCI website.

Remaining RCI Network includes all the RCI Weeks and RCI Points resorts which are not Gold Crown.

The Registry Collection is a group of "High-end Fractional Resorts, Private Residence Clubs, Fractional Yachts, and Condo-Hotels" that the RCI company has contracts with, to offer exchange services, even though they are not traditional timeshares. I noticed that certain Wyndham Grand Hotels are included in the list of participating locations. See: https://rciaffiliates.com/north-ame...nparalleled-exchange/the-registry-collection/

Hope that helps. :)
