Possible new options when using points.

I just found this thread on Facebook. According to poster she called HGVC and they informed her about the new possibilities. I don't know if this is all the new options or if there is more.

It could also just be a scam, but as poster called hgvc and not the other way around it seems not to be.

Any insights from anyone would be appreciated.

Her goes:

I actually learned something new today! Inclusive membership for $114/yr allows members to change reservations made with bonus pts. Therefore, now I can make a reservation 1 night at a time, using bonus pts and add on each day. I can also add days to existing reservations without canceling the reservation and starting over. This membership will also allow me to combine bonus pts with club points since I might book one night with bonus and another with club pts. I am not sure if all this can be done online though. The resort I am booking can only be done over the phone anyway. Huge shout out to Stewart for teaching me something new when I thought I knew everything!

It could be worth it to 'em... I wouldn't know.
You'd definitely need to call HGVC to confirm.

Yeah but as I don't have any bonus points, it wouldn't be worth it to me either unless other perks would come too.

Not with bonus points... they're non-changeable.

I didn't see an announcement from HGVC for this change (I might have missed it) and isn't in their current rules.

Seems like a decent offer, assuming you have bonus points... actually costs less than i might have expected from HGVC...

It sounds like "Stewart" was the only one who knew that new option. <grin>

Not really sure on this, I saw later in the FB conversation that this option was limited to owners of select locations, and possibly Elite status only.
