RCI Points OGS is so very frustrating!

Since May 2016 I have had an OGS for a studio unit in Oahu or Kauai for 2 weeks in March. RCI has repeatedly matched me with one bedroom units at the Imperial Palace for dates that I have already confirmed at this resort (the last 2 weeks of the month). I am not exaggerating when I say that RCI has sent me at least 100 matches for larger units and check-in dates at the Imperial that I have not requested, nor do I want because I have limited Points left. I release them on-line and within 10 minutes they are back on hold in my account. I am also getting 8 a.m. recorded phone messages from RCI letting me know that they have found me a match, the same match that I released hours prior. I have talked to a VC and was told there is nothing they can do about the unwanted matches and they cannot stop the phone messages. I rarely use OGS as I am often making last-minute vacation plans. Is there something that I am doing wrong that can stop all this nonsense?!

Are you searching a geographic area, or specific resorts? If not the latter, switch to that.

I had the same problem last year with some Disney units that I kept matching. I ended up calling RCI and a csr said she had put the particular resort on an exclude list, so I wouldn't match anymore.

AftEr that I didn't get any matches for that resort.

Remember when you setup an ogs and request a studio, that studio is the minimum size you need.
