Wow! And 2 days before the event. We are leaving as 6 a.m. Monday on a bus to probably creep along 2 lane Idaho back roads. If it's like this now, I can't imagine what Monday after the event will be like. Actually, I can, and it ain't pretty.

Eleven years of preparation for a two-minute event. Sounds like John Glenn's first space flight! I think it took less time to plan the first moon shot.

I was lucky enough to be visiting my mom in South Carolina. Just needed to drive a short distance to see the eclipse in totality. It was awesome.
