I read in one of the Trip Adviser reviews that lagoon chairs & umbrellas are $36/day at Ko'olina. Just wondering if there are umbrellas to use at the pools?

Yes, there are a lot of umbrellas around the pools and plenty of lounge chairs. The other thing to note is they don't allow you to bring your own umbrella down to the lagoon. I believe it is a safety issue due to potential winds.

Enjoy your trip. It's a great resort.

Best regards.

The lagoon chairs/umbrella for $36 per day give you two chaise lounge chairs and one umbrella between them. There are a few small tables around, but at a ratio of about 1 per 4 umbrellas. If you want one, you will need to look for one unattended. Finders Keepers...

They also have cabanas in the lagoon area. Not much more $$ but much nicer, especially if you have kids along.

Be aware of what "all day" means. At Ko Olina, it means they begin to lock up the chairs around 5PM, so don't plan on watching the sunset from your chair.

The umbrellas around the pool are free to use, but don't move them.
