We have been wanting more SSR points and spotted a 50 point resale in our use year when it hit the website. I think it should pass - $93 a point with points there for 2017 and 2018. I am always in borrowing mode and never have enough DVC points.

I bought a 50 pt contract and closing was stupid expensive. I have no idea why it costs so much to close a Disney property.

Even with closing and missing 2016 points, it was still about two grand cheaper than direct pricing. I am not sure how much Disney charges for closing on small 50 point contracts these days.

I never have enough points either. The more I buy the more I use. I am now up to 4 times a year every year and some times 5. Food and Wine, Flower and Garden, Festival of the Arts and Christmas. Then 4th of July. Too many fun things to do at WDW.

Got word today the contract passed Disney's right of first refusal. It was submitted on May 31st and passed today - so it took a week. This was the fastest ROFR decision we have ever had. Must have timed it just right or was pixie dusted.

Because when you close a DVC property you usually get Title Insurance.

When I added on 50 point I selected the closing company and paid 372$ in total for closing and 80$ pp
