Exclamation Frequently mentioned resale and rental websites

Selected Timeshare Resale and Rental Sites

Warning: If seeking to rent or sell a timeshare that you own, avoid paying an upfront fee (e.g., $75 or up) to list your timeshare or otherwise facilitate a possible transaction. TUGgers’ experience is unanimous that such fees will generate no sale or rental transaction and any promised money-back guarantee will generally not be honored. For more info, see the “how to sell” or “how to rent” articles in this same section at the top of the list of topics for the Buying, Selling, Renting forum.

Legitimate resale sites frequently mentioned here on TUG (The first five are the ones most often suggested by TUGgers - for buying, selling and (where applicable) renting):
http://ads.tug2.net TUG Timeshare Marketplace
http://ltrba.com Licensed Timeshare Resale Brokers Association! no upfront fees ever!
www.ebay.com (Real Estate; subcategory: Timeshares)
www.sellingtimeshares.net/ (Specializing in Marriott)
www.ownertrades.com (Marriotts only)

Many of the above sites also list rentals. Other sites frequently mentioned as places to list or find a vacation rental timeshare:
http://www.tugbbs.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=45 < Last minute bargain rentals on TUG all under $100 a night!

It’s possible that one or more of the sites on this page might ask for an upfront fee, in excess of a nominal listing fee. If so, please heed the advice at the top of this page! and email us at tug@tug2.net so we can have them removed!
