Has anyone stayed at Newport Bay Club and Hotel lately? How is it holding up?

I might do a couple of days there late winter to walk around a bit, eat, vist a museum, etc.

I don't see an indoor pool mentioned for the kids, though. (Northeast resort without a indoor pool?)

We did a quick walk through when we were staying at a couple of the other properties in Newport. The Bay Club was pretty dumpy and I don't think that there is any indoor pool there. I would suggest the Wyndham Long Wharf - its the only property with an easily accessible indoor pool. Have fun!

We stayed at the newport Bay club a few years ago. The location can't be beat. With that said, there is no indoor pool. At that time they gave us free passes to use a pool at a fitness center. Not at all convenient.
