Can anyone recommend a good closing company for a South Carolina timeshare? Our timeshare is in Myrtle Beach and we just found out that Timeshare Transfer doesn't handle South Carolina weeks now.

Do we need to hire a local attorney or is there any other good companies to work with?

Thanks,
Matt

I successfully used Timeshare Closing Services last summer for a Hilton Head purchase. No problems. Their prices are pretty close to those of Timeshare Transfer.

They get generally good remarks from TUGgers, although there is a negative report regarding a Hawaii points purchase in a current thread on this forum.

I am also planning to transfer an unit. Please advise cost of transfer previous South Carolina unit. Many thanks in advance.

I usually use Dan Zwerner's office, located in Hilton Head. Daniel Zwerner Law Office, 1000 William Hilton Pkwy # J16, Hilton Head Island, SC, Phone: (843) 686-3700. He is more expensive, but his transactions are very fast. You can purchase title insurance.

I second Dan Zwerner's office... ask for LeeAnn. She has closed all 4 of our Marriott HHI weeks in under 4 weeks every time (all purchased at different times). The cost was somewhere around $400 with the title insurance.
