Anyone hear about this ecompany? I am looking for information, the good . . . the bad . . . the ugly?

For your membership fee ($20) right now, gives you information re: discounts for travel. Flights, cars, cruises, hotels, etc.

Is there a website with more info?

A Google search turns up nothing significant. Thus, if you got this offer via a junk e-mail message, I would treat it as junk. From your description, it doesn't sound as though you'll get any better deals with this than are readily available in numerous places with no membership fee.

This is the link I found. http://consumertravel.org/gc-bonus/

I am looking for inexpensive flights to Oahu for my niece. (She's going to college there---her father passed away & it's one way to help out. Surprise! No FF tickets available.)

What a bunch of BS Love Me stuff that says nothing and all seems very contrived. Besides that, it's $20/MONTH.

From the sounds of it, all this site will tell you about is publicly available deals. You can sign up for the same type of alerts - at no cost - with your favorite airlines and/or a number of online travel sites. I would pass. Still, if you want to spend $20 per month, go ahead.

A caution note: If it's such a great idea, wouldn't you think there would be more Internet presence and a bunch of travel writers extolling the virtues of this offer, with all of that praise showing up in a Google or Yahoo search for this company? The fact that such glowing praise doesn't seem to exist is a clear warning signal to me.

The reasoning here is very grounding---I perfer to learn my lesson with the 'grounding' than w/ high expectations & losing my $20 too.

Thanks!

check out Aloha Airlines at www.alohaairlines.com
they have some good fares to Hawaii from the west coast.
the fares on their website are often cheaper than the ones listed on the travel sites like Expedia, Travelocity etc.
