Anyone familiar with Lake Royale in Lousiville, NC??

My wife found this site in NC offering some nice homes as permanent residences or retirement. The homes look nice, but we are not familiar with the area..............is anyone out there familiar?
Our biggest concern in that they have campgrounds for trailers in one section, then single family homes for low $100's to $200's and waterfront for $500k and up.
We're concerned there may be too much diversity. If anyone is familiar, please give us an email............about Lake Royale and the area itself.

Louisburg is about an hour north of downtown Raleigh. It is a nice little town, but not sure I'd plunk down 1/2 million to be near trailers.... It is only 15-20 min from me; I ought to go look, but it's rather busy around here...

I live about an hour away but have not been up to that area in years. Central North Carolina has a lot going for it as a retirement destination, great economy, great healthcare, generally nice weather if you don't mind humidity, but you REALLY need to personally tour this or any area before you buy. There is RV camping in a couple of areas around the lake.
A current concern that you should ask about even before planning a trip is the impact of our current "exceptional drought" on the lake. Some lakes in our area are almost completely dry. You should ask how this lake is fed, who pays for its upkeep, etc.
