eBook Borrowing, Preceded by eBook Waiting - by Alan Finder/ Personal Technology/ The New York Times

I've only been on library waiting lists a couple of times for an eBook. I'm generally not looking for a current best seller in the library. I'll usually purchase it. In addition. there's other sources for free eBooks.

A couple of times, I've not finished a library eBook before thelending time expired and the book disappeared - I just went back to the library website and put my name back on the waiting list & finished the book when I was able to download it again.

Just in case you are interested, there are alot of ebooks available from Barnes and Noble. We got Nook Color for Christmas and have many, many books including the classics for no charge.
