orange lake rental [extra days?]

hi all, we own ot OLCC week [specifics deleted] and we were thinking of extending our stay a couple (2-3) days and take a flight out on a monday or tuesday when it's much cheaper, I called OLCC and they want $230.00 night plus tax for a 2 bedroom condo which is what we own. Seems kinda high to me and not worth the saving on the flights. Any suggestions? I can't really book my flights for the family until I have a place to stay the extra days, and being t/s owners, do not want to stay in a hotel room!

My in-laws own at OLCC (my wife and I own Wyndham), great place! Anyway, you can go over to "Rentals Wanted" and ask. You may not find a rental in OLCC, but there are plenty of other timeshares in the area.

Please note that "Rentals Wanted" is only for the next 45 days, but there is also a "wanted" Section on the TUG Marketplace for dates that are farther out.

depending on your week you can see how many TPU's you would get and deposit it into RCI then you can exchange back into say the West village 2 weeks straight and the extra cost is only the TPUs and about $189 for each week. This is what I do all the time, then we check out whenever we want. Again you have to have enough TPUs though.
