Current Hyatt developer prices?

Does anyone know the current Hyatt Developer prices if you purchase from Hyatt? For instance...Hyatt Carmel or Sedona? Are there any additional "perks" for buying from them (for instance...with Marriott if you buy resale you don't get the points...a value or non-value depending on the person).

If they are accepting most ROFR...

Just trying to figure out the best deal to look at...cause it sure seems like Hyatt maintenance fees aren't the cheapest around. Well...most maintenance fees are going up these days (but I do love my timeshares!)

Barbara,

I would contact Jenn in Carmel Hyatt she is really good and she is the sales manager.

We had a friend buy directly from her and she made some magic happen for them insentives etc.

They were very pleased with thier purchase in Carmel since they got a full ocean view year after year. Jenn knows her stuff and is honest.

I was wondering if anyone knows the range of current selling prices.

I went to Kal's site and did not see any reference to prices. Its always nice to have an "idea" what one is looking at for cost. So far I have only seen some resale prices and I don't know if they are 76%, 50% or 25% of developer prices or what. It just nice to have all the information before I make a decision.

I believe when we talked to Hyatt about 1 year ago, resale prices were something like 30-50% of Hyatt's prices. They would probably be even lower now, I'd speculate. I am remembering something like $27,000 for a 2BR Sedona week-- this may not be exactly right, however. This would have been an 1880-2200 week, the only size we were considering. I could be getting this mixed up with Marriott, though, as I talked to them at the same time.

I recall the only difference between developer and resale purchase was the ability to convert to hotel points.

I would not hesitate to call the Hyatt Carmel sales people, however. That's where we did our tour and they were in no way shiestery. We found the Marriott and Disney sales people to be slightly shiesters. The Starwood people were just so unhelpful that we never got past an initial few phone calls and emails. And you can only imagine our experience with the Westgate people in Orlando. Ten years later, my husband and I still talk about that totally crazy sales pitch! It actually didn't even make sense, they'd just say pretty much anything to try to get you to buy.

Maybe somebody else can post with more up-to-date and certain information.
