New Owner
I had my ROFR waived and i'm the proud owner of 7000 Platinum points a International Drive.
Could someone tell me which building is the closest to the pools and with newest decor. Thanks ![]() |

Congrats!
Building 1 is closest to the main pool, building 7? (highest number) is the newest building. They were just build in order around the lake, with the last one directly across the lake from the main pool / lobby. With the boardwalk bridge that goes across the lake, it is not a bad walk from the last building to the main pool. Kurt |

Yay! Congratulations. I am leaving for my Orlando trip Monday! (staying at both International Drive and Sea World)

Building 7 facing the lake would be a good choice then? I have a 5 and 8 year old so they don't mind walking a bit.
Thanks |

We were in building 7 for spring break, a 3 bdrm and liked it quite a bit. Close to everything up front, and even walked across the road to the Publix market for food several times.
Nice place. |

In addition, I have heard that parking can be a problem toward the higher-numbered buildings. Building 1 is close to the overflow parking in front of the lobby. Yes, building 1 is the oldest, but it was in impeccable shape when we were there -- after all, the whole resort isn't that old. Kurt Last edited by PigsDad : November 7, 2009 at 08:33 PM. |

Care to share the purchase price that cleared ROFR? I am submitting mine this week and am hoping to do the same. The broker says these are not being exercised with any frequency now but posted prices still seem a bit higher than what I am to pay. When I get a ROFR decision, I will share it with the board.

According to my maintenance fee letter I got the other week, buildings 1 and 2 just got new flat screen LCD (although those buildings are the oldest) they are also closer to the big poo.
Personally I liked building 7 I was in as it was away from the big pool so not as much noise and kids. The "small" pool was fine for me as I like the jacuzzi tub more than the pool. |
