Faulty (spam?) private messages? - Timeshare Users Group Online Community Forums

I got a notification in my email that I had a PM waiting in my inbox here. However, hours after that notification arrived, there is nothing in my inbox.

Was it just spam, and the admins caught it & deleted it? Curious.
