So last year I did my presentation, and stayed at Seaworld. Fell in love with it. So a year later I bought in from the secondary market.

So my first trip as an owner has been less than delightful. The people below me are blasting rap music with lyrics like "eat d*cks" and "all my team f*ck b*tches". This started last night with the addition of them smoking pot. This morning when my family, and I are trying to enjoy breakfast on the patio, the ruckus starts again. Even with closing the windows we could still hear the music. This time it took 3 phone calls from the front desk to do something.

So is there some sort of deal bringing in a lower class clientele? I thought you reach a certain income threshold to come here.

Sorry for your experience. Not sure why you are equating level of income with how people behave though.

IMNSHO, they should have sent security - if they didn't knock it off after the first time they were called. If this continues, I would go down to the front desk in person, and speak to the manager.

We were there the week of April 23rd and had the opposite experience. Everything was very quiet. I hope yours was an isolated problem.

I would request a move to a unit far away from those folks.

Agree, next time call security, not the front desk.

Now that it's a new day, if it were me, I'd go straight down t to the front desk and talk to a manager, not a supervisor or receptionist. Complain about the rap (loud and very filthy un-family words), the three calls, that it's starting up again, and that you'll be in contact with HGVC. Demand a new room nowhere near this noise, show your displeasure, and don't accept any downgrades.

Ive found Seaworld for rent on hotels.com for cheap before. So quite possibly hotel goers not Hilton owners.

HGVC makes inventory available to Hilton Hotels as compensation for use of the Hilton Honors program. Thus, the unwashed masses can book any HGVC resort thru Hilton Hotels and you'll can easily find yourself rubbing elbows with average Joe's and their extended families.

But that doesn't mean you need to put us with rude behavior.
You can record the music with your cell phone and play it for the manager.
If he's not helpful, say: "HGVC's corporate office is not far. Shall I play it for them?"
-- MetroWest Blvd is only a few miles North of Universal Studios.

If you have a phone that will make an audio recording, record the wonderful music, go to the front desk and turn it up as LOUD as you can make it. Once you obtain the appropriate response, tell them it's a recording of what you're having to endure and that you don't understand why is it taking them coming to the front desk to play it for them to get anything done? If you REALLY want to make your point heard loud and clear, go to Walmart and buy a set of speakers that will work using the headphone jack of your phone.

And for what it's worth, having money doesn't mean you have a little class or respect for your neighbors. Imagine living next door to Justin Bieber for instance.

We are going to stay there for the first time in August (yeah, 3 trips to Orlando with our DVC points are not enough...my soon-to-be-13-year-old niece wants her birthday at Seaworld :)), so I hope it is more like the latter experiences than the former.

Of course, if they have pot and share...well...just sayin' :)

Cheers.

stayed there 3X, no issues. It's a lovely property. Sorry to hear this. They're not likely full. If they haven't intervened adequately, let HGVC corporate know and also ask to be moved.

Dont blame the Resort

No matter where you go you will always find loud and obnoxious people. I've stayed at Ritz Carltons and had to deal with drunk, loud convention folk. Yes Folk, they stink. :annoyed:

Yep. It seems that the unwashed masses are everywhere. Even in an exclusive restaurant called "The Embers," they let me in. As Groucho Marx said, "I don’t want to belong to any club that would have me as a member.”

You wont believe but it happens to us in SSR_DVC back in Spring break. thanks god it was our last day in the resort . We love that resort but it was a nightmare. My toddler was very curious about what was going on next to our balcony.:ponder:
