We stay any SVV for a bit more than 2 months in the winter, usually at the Keys. They are doing maintenance this year so we can't stay in the same unit the whole time. We don't want St Augustine...bit too busy. We are looking at bldg 10, 3 or 2 Bella (premium one bedroom). We like the Bella layout, BUT the Amelia bldgs. Look like they would be remote and quiet like the Keys but we are worried about international drive noise

Any input re: your experience or opinions would be welcome!

Thanks so much!

Hi Marie , lucky you ! Two whole months how do you manage that! I would love to do that!!! We have stayed in building 10 and it was nice and quiet with a nice view and far enough away to have no pool noise, I have never been interested in the Amelia section as it does not have its own pool , keys section is also our favourite, have a wonderful time ️xxx

We have stayed in buildings 2 and 3 Bella, top floor. Love the vaulted ceilings in the premium one bdrm. Morning sun, afternoon shade. Nice views of lake and barbecues close by.

We have lots of Staroptions, so we put them all together and pick up an Interval Getaway or two! We live in Massachusetts and the winters have been brutal, at least that's what we hear...so we head south.

The Resort is a great place to spend the winter,

Thanks for the suggestions!

We will make our requests, 10, 3 or 2 in Bella and take our chances. The Keys were so nice, small and everything right there. Even the parking was easy..oh well, maybe next year!

Sorry about that! Yes, I would think the buildings away from the pool in Bella would be the quietest. When is Key West undergoing refurbishments? We are planning to stay there in March.

Keys refurbished

They didn't say dates, but said we would not be able to stay in the unit for the entire time. So the refurbishments will take place throughout the winter. I've been dealing with Dane Husson, very responsive. They may only be doing routine maintenance though, not refurbishing. We are there until Feb. 16.

We cannot get Bldg 10 either as they will also do maintenance there as well, so we've requested Bldg 3, top floor if possible.
For the first time we are having our mail forwarded to the resort instead of UPS. It is free except for packages, $10 each. So we'll see how it works.
