Congratulations!!!!!! You seem to be on a timeshare buying spree!!!! Looks like a nice place!!! Dave

An incredible buying spree. I've decided to get back into the Rental business I had before my beloved hubby died. But this VV and it's StarOptions are for my own use.

Don't mean to be a party pooper. But for the maintenance fees, you are not getting a lot of StarOptions. Also, don't forget you have to pay annual SVN fees of about $130 on top of the MF. Put it in a different perspective, you will only have enough StarOptions to book a studio in Hawaii every other year.

On the other hand it can get a premium 1 br in the summer at harborside Atlantis every other year or a small 1 br there during the winter platinum period Eoy.

The seller says all over the ad that it's a 2br/2ba villa - but it's actually a small 1br. Wassup with that?

Oops. I think it's an EOY 2br NON lock-off. See my next post below...

Now that I've looked at the StarOptions Chart, I'm thinking it's an EOY 2br NON-lock-off in Gold Plus (low) season. But if that's the case, then the MF's in the ad look a little off based on what other owners have reported their MF's to be. Maybe someone who owns a SVV 2br EOY can chime in and say what their MF's are per year.

MF is not far off at all and it is about what I would expect. You have to pay MF annually for EOY units. My concern is low staroption for the maintenance fees + annual SVN fees that are payable. It is a poor deal to be used as a "trader". However OP wants to use it to stay there, then it is irrelevant. As long as she likes the season and will go back there every other year, then it is a good deal.

Yup, the description in the listing seems to match most closely to 2BR/2BA non-lockoff low season every-odd-year usage. The only thing that doesn't quite match is the floating weeks -- it should probably read "1-5,18-22,35-38,48-50"
