Is MVCI still offering Plus Points when an eligible owner enrolls his or her weeks, and if so, how many?

We enrolled all of our weeks in the DC program when it was introduced in 2010 and received 800 Plus Points good until the end of 2011, so this question does not apply to me personally, but I am curious and cannot find the answer. I think I once read that they are now offering more Plus Points with the higher enrollment fee, but I may be confusing it with a purchase of Trust points.

If one is purchasing Trust Points, they will waive the enrollment fee, which is the incentive. I don't believe you get both the waived enrollment fee and the PlusPoints. Though as a current enrolled owner they will offer a credit of the enrollment fee to anyone that buys Trust Points. So it may be possible to get both. If you can't get both, it would be best to enroll first and pay the fee and then get the credit later when buying Trust Points.

I believe the PlusPoint incentive for enrolling is now 3780. ETA: These are only good for reservations within 60 days of checkin.

So in a sense, it is really not much more "expensive" now for an eligible owner to enroll than before, assuming that he or she uses the 3780 Plus Points wisely and for something they would have wanted to book anyway. The enrollment fee is much higher than befiore (I am assuming a developer purchase) but you get a much larger enrollment bonus than before (albeit with a 60-day restriction). Am I understanding this correctly?

You are correct. You can get a lot of value from those PlusPoints, enough to cover the $2,395 enrollment fee, depending on how you use them.

And for resale week owners the higher enrollment fee is "cheaper," imho. As a matter of fact, I had enrolled a day before the initial deadline, and then had them switch my enrollment when I saw the new offer (they were accommodating). I felt 3780 Plus Points, even though limited to 60 days, was much more valuable than 800. I managed to couple that with a 40% savings offer and booked 3 2BR villas, each for 6 days, in Orlando resorts. At the time, Getaways were 1K each. We landed up needing only 2 of the villas, so I rented one on the last minute board here for almost $600, bringing my enrollment down to ~$1800. Given the price of the accommodations at the time, I feel like I enrolled virtually for free; besides, taking our 3 year old grandson for his first trip to see Mickey and friends, with four generations- priceless!

So good use can be made of those limited use points, and you can book a week that offsets the enrollment fee. For developer purchasers it is a big cost jump, but for resale owners I think a much better value than the original offer.

From the Points FAQ Sticky....

As of 6/14/12 the Enrollment Fee has been increased to $2,395 and the Enrollment Incentive to 3,780 one-time Single Use Points, which expire one year from date of issue and are restricted to reservations made within 60 days of check-in.
