We are arriving on Friday of Easter week in Aruba. We are staying at Costa Linda and the Surf Club. From what I have researched, most of the supermarkets will only be open on Saturday of the Easter weekend.

I've made a reservation for Chalet Suisse for Saturday night.

Any suggestions for Easter Sunday dinner reservations? We don't like buffets much. We are 5 people including two kids, ages 11 and 13.

I plan to eat at Madam Janette and Driftwood. Any other great restaurants, not to be missed?

Any inexpensive options (Pizza Bobs is one I know)?

Thanks!

Casa Tua in the highrises for inexpensive and the kids will love it. I'd be careful to check which restaurants are open on Easter Sunday as it is a major holiday for Arubans. They camp all Easter week (check out the tents on the right of Costa Linda as you face the ocean. They have to get permits so it is quite civilized and lots of fun. The music is great - our unit faces the beach and down the beach overlooking the camping area. As for Easter Sunday dinner - have you checked out www.aruba-bb.com and www.aruba.com for their forums?

Try La Petite Cafe in the Playa Linda. It is street side, they cook on the hot rocks (granite) & make it a fun meal. Also, try and make the Seafood night at the Marriott Vistana, at the hotel. Beautiful evening. The Vistana has been re-done and is a beauty. If I remember it is on Wednesday nights.

We just returned from 9 days at the surf club. We ate at Chalet Suisse (pretty good), Madame Janette (very good), Flying Fishbones (best location and very good food) and the best place we ate was Papiamento's by far. We also heard that Anna Maria's is very good.

Anna-Maria's was excellent. Setting is at their home on their back yard terrace. Reservations are a must. Ask to see/view their menu ahead of time and put in your selections or it will be a 3 hour evening, which sometimes is not a bad thing.
