This may be something for the Hawaii forum but our plans are to stay at the Sheraton Waikiki in January using our Starpoints for 8-9 nights. I booked through Platinum concierge via telephone. I just booked a "city view" however for another 1000 starpoints per night we could get a "mountain view". We have stayed at the Moana Surfrider but not this hotel. I'm just trying to figure if it would be worth using extra Starpoints for the view?? I believe they do have a Club floor that we will have access to also. We may be lucky and get an upgrade but spending this many nights we may not either. Thanks for any information.

We stayed there for two nights in December and got what had to be the worst view in the entire resort. Maybe you'll get better since you're an elite member.

We stayed there 1 night last February after our WKORV stay before flying home from Honolulu. We had a fabulous view, high floor, view of the ocean and Diamond Head. We were thrilled with that until an EXTREMELY loud large party started on the pool deck below. It was so loud that we could not have a conversation inside the room with the lanai door closed without shouting.
We had to be up at 4:30 am to go to the airport. I called the front desk so see what could be done. They apologized and said others had complained but there was nothing they could do.
When we checked out they asked how our stay was, so I told them.
As we were getting in the taxi, the Manager stopped us and said they were crediting 2000 StarPoints to my account. I thanked her and suggested that in the future they consider that their hotel guests expect a decent night's sleep and that booking events which are in direct conflict with that are problematic.
