Hopefully Wyndham informed you in writing that the contract was invalid. Was the amount you paid for the purchase returned to you? Where was the timeshare deeded or was it CWA points?

Were you set up on auto pay? They may owe you more if you were set up and your past credit card should bshow any charges. They may also owe any monies paid there as well, since it was an invalid contract. Check and see, and call Wyndham back. You should get that back as well. $205 is an unusual amount to owe.

Just give them a week and call back, if unresolved, put your information in writing along with a copy of the bill, and tag to customer relations.

Was this resale contract? I assumed was direct purchase.

This happened to me once with Wyndham: if Wyndham said it's an invalid contract, then keeping it isn't an option. In my case, the one I bought was in foreclosure.

That's a maintenance fee of $6.85 per 1,000 - I think you should be OK with the fact that they took it, and just get the past due straightened out/removed.

It's happened to me as well. It took awhile to get it straightened out; the previous owner had started the paperwork to transfer it, then I guess they did an equity trade, but the reseller didn't know it and continued with the sale. It took me months to get the money back, so at least you're square on that side quickly, just need to get the MF refunded.

Sorry, I misunderstood your original post.

As I've never had an " invalid contract" situation, I'm not sure what Wyndham's usual procedure is. I don't suppose you took note of the name of the person from Wyn that called you?

Denise, did you find out via mail or phone call?

I didn't find out until the transfer was completely finished, and I was trying to make a reservation! I called them!
