Yes, that's what I just got...300,000 MR points for 132,000 UAL miles and 5 nights Cat 8 Hotel.

I stand corrected, it does also apply to 5 night packages...

Then the rep made a mistake. I agree that it depends a lot on the rep. When I initially did mine for the first time, my rep was awesome. He made sure I got the miles, worked with my airline, etc. He put in a lot more time than I expected to get.

Definitely asked for the certificate to be returned. Honestly it depends on the rep and I am calling the plat line. As Bocaboy says.lots of bumps to watch for. I am very clear. I would never want the points back vs a cat 8 five night certificate.

Yep….never had a problem in ordering the TP. Just canceling an existing reservation and redepositing the cert. Again, MR has always fixed it.

Traded 235.000 MRPs today for 5 night package, 132.000 united Mileage pLus Points(with 10% bonus) and 5 night hotel cet Category 1-5. A nice Holiday gift, to be sure!
