Thanks in advance for the help..Here are some questions you can answer to focus your timeshare wants/needs.

1) Where do you want your home resort to be? Somewhere worth trading or get highest bank points - may never stay there..
2) Do you want to visit your home resort at least half the time, or do you want to trade more than half the time? Trade more than half the time
3) What are your 5 top trade destinations? Beach, Familt Destinations and Europe.. Want to do a different place every other year while banking the other to get the big vacay!
4) How many people do you usually travel with? 5 minimum, occasionally up to 8
5) Can you travel any time, or are you locked into the school schedule? School, but can move it a bit once and a while..
6) Can you make firm plans 12 or more mos. in advance? Yes
7) Can you vacation for a full week at a time? Yes at least a week, sometimes longer
8) What level of accommodations do you prefer on a scale of 1 to 5 stars? 4-5
9) How much can you afford to spend upfront, without financing? up to 15-20K
10) How much can you afford to spend every year for a maintenance fee that will come due right after Christmas, and increase each year? $2-3K
11) Are you a detail oriented planner? meh, sometimes
12) Do you understand that once you buy a timeshare, it may be very difficult to sell or give away, and you are responsible for all fees, until you do? This is a big one, I think we are good with owning for at least 20 years.. Then send/will/deed to our 3 kids to divide and take over.. Still a noob at all of this, but excited to find out more..
