What's the best timing for a retrade?

I have to move a week in November for the very best of reasons: a new grandchild.

When is the best time to do a retrade through II? Should I do it now or will there be more available the closer we get to the 60 day mark? I know I am going to have to pay a retrade fee.

Unless you are cancelling to get a replacement week, in which you would want to get close to the 60-day period, the best time for retrade is when you see a week that you want online.

Also, unless you want to retrade for something within 59 days of checkin don't wait until 59 days of checkin to do a retrade. Once you retrade within 59 days of checkin, you won't ever be able to search beyond those 59 days unless you cancel and get a cancellation replacement. Cancel or retrade outside of 59 days for the most flexibility.
