Vegas Trump - 1 br "plus" worth the extra points?

A 1br "plus" at the Trump in Vegas is 6300 points for a week. A regular 1br is 5100. From what I can tell from the website floorplans, the "plus" units are corner units, and are slightly bigger. I'm thinking it's not worth the extra points, but wonder if anyone has experience. I do understand that it is preferable at this property to have a view toward the Wynn, etc., and not be on the other side with a view of the freeway. We don't need the extra space, and my concern is that a corner unit on a lower floor facing the wrong direction would be inferior to a cheaper, "regular" 1br.

We own at Flamingo, and have stayed at Elara (which is great). The wife really wants to try Trump, so the only issue is whether the "plus" is worth it.

Thanks in advance. Mark G

Have never stayed there, only read about it. If I had to choose, I would stay in the regular 1br. For me, I dont see the pay off for the extra 1200 points. My 2cents.

We had a corner unit on the freeway side, it was really nice, liked having the 2 windows in the bedroom and the window in the bathroom was awesome...

Trump views

There is nothing special to see at the trump except a few far casinos and the roof of a mall.

Rooms are very nice but a little off strip and not at any casino .

Only has valet parking and last time i was there there looked like a prom just ending so there is some type of convention center there and what a night mare that was. Good thing it was a rental car as i just found any place to get out and gave keys to valet ( with$5 tip ) and up and out of mad house of ending party

Using points might night be worth it, however just booked 1 bedroom plus for 1 week labour day weekend for $775. Close to the mall to keep my wife happy

No resort fee

Just got back from the Trump and found it to be very good. They had mistakenly given us a 1 bedroom and made me pull up my HGVC account to show I should be in a two-bedroom, but because of this inconvenience I think they gave us a better room; floor 28, rooms 2809 and 2810. These were corner rooms overlooking Wynn. I thought the view was great, and I didn't hear the train noise people often complain about. Just wanted to post and confirm there is no resort fee; which was nice. Also the pool is pretty kid friendly.
