Can anyone tell me if Marco Island flex weeks count toward elite and if so, how many points does Hilton allow. I understand you have to have 'Hilton' properties, but I am looking ahead to see about qualifing for one of the higher proposed levels.
My understanding is the HGVC affilated resorts( like the ones on Marco Island), can often count toward elite if purchased before purchasing a developer week from HGVC. The number of points vary with the unit size and season. But they are generally about the same number of points as the HGVC weeks.
We have two south Florida flex weeks. HGVC Orlando offered us elite status if we purchased a package of at least 4000 points from them. The options at that time were 4100 (3br silver) at Seaworld or 4800 (1br plat) at Idrive. The ffililates were to count as 10000 toward elite. The 4100 cost a lot less but it would be a poor deal from MF standpoint.
