Sometimes, those copies of your receipt can't be read clearly. So go to usps.com and put that tracking number into the tracking box, it will give you the status of that express mailing. It should only take one day for delivery. Print out the delivery info, and as Clark Howard would say "save that rescind paperwork forever". Years from now you don't want a letter in your mailbox saying you owe money for that timeshare.

I've never rescinded but I always take a picture of these types of postal receipts. I learned my lesson after losing a usps confirm years ago on an ebay sale. Just takes a few seconds to snap a pic with your phone.

You don't want to lose it and be freaking out!

My comment is not time share related, but my brother was causing legal problems for the rest of us in the family. He claimed he never received a document. I provided his lawyer with a scanned copy of the signed document and a copy of the return receipt. End of discussion. It never hurts to take the extra step, just in case.
