Hi, I want to give my timeshare (it's deeded and paid for) to my sister. Can anyone tell me if we can do the paperwork by mail? Do we have to use a title transfer company? Trying to make this as inexpensive as possible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Give these ladies a call, they will walk you through it.

Most of it can be done through email and some snail mail.

What did your sister do to you as a child that you are going to give her a timeshare ?????

In my state only the grantor signs the deed, which must be notarized, this is determined by the location of the real property

In my state only the grantor signs the deed, which must be notarized, this is determined by the location of the unit.

Having done it myself, once (by mail except the resort notification, wanted to avoid another quarter of maintenance fee and the management company was doable on my lunch hour) would not do it again. I would use one of the services like recommended in post 2
